Clinics & Services

In addition to GP consultations the practice offers a full range of clinics and healthcare services:

  • girl_being_examined 
  • Asthma Clinic - all asthmatic patients are invited to attend this clinic, where the practice nurse will monitor each patient individually.  The object is to improve the quality of life of the asthmatic patient by improved education and close monitoring of treatment.
  • Cervical Cytology - carried out by the practice nurse.  They are done on a regular basis and you will be advised when the test is due from the Health Authority and we also send out invitations.  Smear information leaflets are available from the surgery. 
  • Child Health Services - a full childhood immunisation programme is run at the surgery and it is essential that all children are protected from the various diseases by vaccination. The doctor will carry out a check at 6 weeks.  The health visitor will carry out a check at 3 years and other routine checks at the health centre.
  • Diabetic Clinic - all diabetic patients are invited to attend this clinic, which aims to provide comprehensive care for our diabetic patients and help them to keep their diabetes under control.
  • Dietician Clinic - patients who are suffering conditions requiring dietary advice such as diabetes, high cholesterol etc., will be referred by the doctor.
  • Quit Smoking Clinic - by appointment through the Healthy Lifestyle clinic - contact the surgery for details.
  • Stop Smoking Clinic - by appointment through the Healthy Lifestyle clinic - contact the surgery for details

  • Coronary Heart Disease Prevention/Monitoring
  • Hypertension (Blood Pressure) Monitoring
  • Foreign Travel Advice / Holiday vaccinations

The practice nurse will offer advice or treatment on the above during consultation hours.  Please ask for an appointment to see her.

Look after your mental health 

Inclusion Thurrock continues to provide support for people using a range of talking therapies.  These IAPT services are being provided over the telephone, through video consultation and other digital platforms.
